The nutritional part of the challenge this week is NO FAST FOOD! This will take some planning for some, and a lot of will power for others, but avoid all fast food for an entire week. Your body will thank you!
We are going to focus on legs and explosive power this week – Squat Jumps
Stand with feet hip width apart. Squat down and touch the ground, keeping your knees behind your toes. As you come up, explode straight up in a jump and reach for the sky. This is a great instructional video.
Beginners – 60 (you don’t have to touch ground, and you can keep your jump small)
Intermediate – 100 (you don’t have to touch the ground, but do a full jump)
Advanced – 150 (touch the ground and jump as high as you can)
Remember you don’t have to do them all at once, spread it out during the day. Doing 30 second or 1 minute intervals is a great way to complete this challenge every day. Ready, set, GO!!
