Today is my 13 year Wedding Anniversary! Marriage takes a lot of work, sacrifice and commitment, but when you love and value someone, you are willing to put in the effort. The same goes for our health. When we put in the work, make the sacrifices and commit to healthy choices, we are loving and valuing ourselves! Nothing worth having is easy, and working hard makes the accomplishment much more rewarding.
This week’s challenge has two parts.
1. Keep a Food Journal every day this week. If you need help with getting started, click here.
2. Alternating Lateral Lunges – This is a great lower body exercise that works your hip flexors as well as your hamstrings. It is also a great stretch for your inner thighs, helping with your flexibility.
Beginner Instructions – Do 50 on each leg every day like this.
Intermediate Instructions – Do 50 on each leg every day like this.
Advanced Instructions – Do 50 on each leg every day like this with at LEAST 10 pounds (use a weight that allows you to do 10-15 reps to fatigue.)
Remember you have all day each day to complete this challenge. Start with sets of 10, and do more as you have time throughout the day. Ready, Set, GO!
